This guide provides step-by-step instructions to connect Stack Wallet to your own Fulcrum node, increasing your privacy and security.
Stack Wallet is a Bitcoin Cash (BCH) wallet.
Download Stack Wallet from the App Store.
Optional: Turn on Airplane Mode (turn off Wi-Fi / cellular / internet) to avoid sending your addresses to another server before you've entered your own server settings.
Open the Stack Wallet app.
On the main screen, click the gear icon in the upper right for settings.
Select "Manage nodes"
Tap "+" to add a node.
Enter these settings:
Tap "Save".
Wait a few seconds as the app tries to connect to your node, which it won't be able to do in Airplane Mode.
If you are in Airplane Mode, you'll get the message: "Server currently unreachable: Would you like to save this node anyways?" Tap "Save" again.
In the list of Bitcoin Cash nodes, select "Stack Default", then tap "Details".
Tap the pencil icon in the upper right and then tap the trash icon in the upper right to delete Stack's default node. Stack's node is bitcoincash.stackwallet.com:50002 if you ever want to add it back.
Turn off Airplane Mode (turn on Wi-Fi / cellular / internet).
Any Bitcoin Cash wallet that uses Simplified Payment Verification (SPV) via the Electrum Cash Protocol can connect to your Fulcrum server.
